Safety: our priority

At Babiem, the safety of your children is of course our top priority. We understand that parents want the best for their children, and that doesn't just mean beautiful and durable products,
but also products that are absolutely safe.

That is why we have all our products tested according to European standards for toy safety.

European toy safety standards

The European Toy Safety Standards, defined in the EN 71 directives, are recognized worldwide as the highest standard for toy safety. These standards cover a wide range of safety aspects, including physical and mechanical properties, flammability and chemical properties.

What are our products tested for?

  • EN 71-1: Physical and mechanical properties . We ensure that our products do not have sharp edges or small parts that could come loose and pose a choking hazard.


  • EN 71-2: Flammability . Our products are tested for flammability to ensure they do not ignite easily. This reduces the risk of fire hazards and ensures a safe playing environment.



  • EN 71-3: Chemical properties . We test our materials for the presence of harmful chemicals and heavy metals, such as lead and cadmium. We ensure that all materials used are non-toxic and meet the strict limits set by European legislation.

CE marking
